On 15 August a Medical Practitioners Tribunal hearing, convened by the General Medical Council, suspended retired GP Dr Diana Warner’s license to practice for three months following a finding of professional misconduct. The tribunal’s decision comes after Dr Warner breached an injunction order from the High Court preventing her from protesting on the M25 motorway, and following Dr Warner’s conviction of criminal damage to public property at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court.
This hearing is the second of its kind, after a similar tribunal found Dr Sarah Benn, an NHS doctor of over 30 years, guilty of professional misconduct in April of this year.
